Matthew Mc Grath is the Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Business Development of SunCoke Energy. In his present position Mr. Mc Grath is responsible for SunCoke Energy’s global business development program. This includes identifying and developing markets and business opportunities in the domestic and international coke, steam, and electric power co-generation markets.

Prior to joining SunCoke Energy, Mr. Mc Grath served as president of PSEG Global LLC based in Newark, New Jersey. Mr. Mc Grath joined PSEG Global in 1996 as a staff attorney and progressed through positions of increasing responsibility ultimately being promoted to president in 2007. During his time at PSEG, Mr. Mc Grath had a variety of responsibilities relating to significant investments in the United States, Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and South America. He was responsible for establishing PSEG Global’s highly successful power generation business in Poland. As chairman of PSEG’s electric utilities in southern Chile, he guided those companies to dramatic improvements in quality of service and profitability.

Prior to joining PSEG, Mr. Mc Grath practiced law in Boston and in New York City. Mr. Mc Grath earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Western New England College and graduated from New York University School of Law.
